Company pension

Questions regarding the company pension should generally be addressed to the Federal and State Pension Institution (Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder - VBL) in Karlsruhe.

If the employment relationship is terminated due to the receipt of an old-age pension, an application must also be submitted to the VBL, as this pension is not paid automatically. You can obtain applications on the Internet or from your NLBV administrator, who will also fill out the employer's part of the application. You submit this application and a copy of your pension statement to the VBL.
