Vergütung (TV-L)

Your annual remuneration is made up of your monthly salary and a one-off special payment.

You will receive the special payment together with your remuneration for the month of November. The basis for calculating your special payment is the monthly pay for the months of July, August and September. You are only entitled to the annual special payment if your employment relationship exists on December 1 of the relevant year.

In addition, you are entitled to capital-forming benefits as soon as your employment relationship is expected to last at least 6 months. For full-time employees, the TV-L provides for capital-forming benefits in the amount of EUR 6.65. Part-time employees are entitled to a pro rata payment. The amount can be topped up by you and will be deducted directly from your salary by the Lower Saxony State Office for Pay and Pensions (NLBV) Lüneburg upon application. Applications for payment of capital-forming benefits can be obtained from your financial services provider. The application can be made retroactively for two months in the calendar year.

The NLBV is responsible for verifying your electronic income tax deduction details. If you would like to change your income tax deduction details (e.g. after marriage), you can do this at your local tax office.
