SAP-Access
Monitoring of finances in your institution is done for info users (read access) with a browser-based SAP access (SAP WebGUI).
On this page you will find information related to SAP WebGui access, such as:
- Instructions on how to apply for new SAP access, as well as a form for applying.
- Training materials and documentation
- Assistance with technical problems with your SAP WebGUI access
Requesting SAP access
You are a full-time employee and need SAP access to monitor the finances of your institution. For licensing and cost reasons, the number of SAP accesses per institution is limited. Therefore, please contact Betina Vieth (Tel. -1038) first. You will then be informed of the further procedure for setting up your SAP access.
Technical requirements
- SAP WebGui is a browser-based SAP access. We recommend Mozilla Firefox as browser (standard browser at Leuphana University of Lüneburg)
- For security reasons, you need a DFN-PKI user certificate.
- Your computer needs a fixed IP address from the university network (assigned by the IT service), i.e. access via WLAN or via home office is not possible.
- The IT service will install the certificate in the browser and make further settings.
For details, please refer to the SAP User Guide for Finance Info Users in Chapter 10.

Budget report annual values or total values?
Select the Budget Report annual values for funds with annual budget (e.g. funds of current business, budgetary funds projects, study quality funds projects, freely available third-party funds...).
Select the Budget Report Total Values for third-party funded projects and donated projects.
From the overview of fund types und numbers, you can see whether the fund has an annual budget or an overall budget.
