Digitisation of the Administration

The digitisation of administrative processes essentially comprises 4 building blocks: Electronic file management, electronic case processing, electronic collaboration and electronic specialised procedures.

In the coming years, in addition to the introduction of various specialised procedures, e.g. for process support of application and appointment procedures or in the administration of Leuphana's real estate, the focus will be on the introduction of the electronic file and electronic process processing. Document management systems (DMS) or enterprise content management (ECM) systems enable digital document management. They manage documents of all kinds and map all tasks occurring in the life cycle of a document - from creation and processing to archiving and disposal. On the one hand, a DMS is a storage location for documents and on the other hand, it offers a range of functionalities to handle document-related processes.
