Civil servants at Leuphana University of Lüneburg are honoured by their employer with a certificate of thanks and congratulations on the occasion of their service anniversary on completion of 25 years, 40 years and 50 years of service.
The anniversary service period begins on the day of first entry into a training or full-time employment relationship with a public-law employer within the meaning of Articel 29 of the Federal Salaries Act (BBesG). Periods of service within the meaning of § 30 BBesG shall not be taken into account in calculating the anniversary service period. The beginning of the jubilee service period shall be postponed analogously to Articel 28 BBesG by the full duration of the periods which lead or would lead to a postponement of the salary service age.
Pursuant to Art. 9 para. 1 sent. 4 of the Lower Saxony Special Leave Ordinance (Nds. SUrlVO), it is possible to grant one day of special leave on the occasion of the anniversary, taking into account official matters. The application is to be submitted to Ms Rüther via the superior.
Furthermore, civil servants in grades A 1 to A 11 receive an anniversary bonus in addition to the certificate of thanks and congratulations. This amounts to
- after 25 years of jubilee service 307 euros,
- 410 euros after 40 years of jubilee service,
- 512 euros after 50 years of jubilee service.
Details are regulated by the Service Anniversary Ordinance Dienstjubiläumsverordnung (DJubVO) of 23.04.1996. Calculations of the anniversary service period that were announced before the Service Anniversary Ordinance came into force remain unchanged.
