According to Section 12 NBeamtVG, the minimum period of training prescribed in addition to general school education (technical college, university and practical training, preparatory service, standard examination period) can also be taken into account as pensionable service, the period of technical college or university training including the examination period up to three years.
All professors will receive the forms linked below by email from their administrator in the Professorships/Civil Servants department after their appointment as a tenured civil servant. All previous periods of employment, including all periods of training, can be entered in the form to the exact day.
The completed table is returned together with the completed and signed application form to the responsible administrator in the Professorships/Officials department. Together with the personnel files, the application and the table are forwarded to the Lower Saxony State Office for Pay and Pensions (NLBV) in Hanover by the secretariat of the Professorships/Officials department.
