In a contract for work and services (§§ 631 et seq. BGB), an entrepreneur owes the customer (in this case the university) the production of a work, i.e. the achievement of a certain result. The subject of typical work contracts at universities can be, for example, analyses or translations. For this service/work, the contractor receives a remuneration for the work. As a "work manufacturer", however, he/she is not socially insured by the university.
When awarding work contracts, please note that no work contract can be concluded with employees of the university. It is then a question of an increase in working hours.
