Sports in the new year: current announcements

2024-01-17

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the University Sports Centre, I would like to wish you a happy and healthy New Year. If you have made any sporting New Year's resolutions, you are most welcome to realise them with us at Studio 21 or the other sports facilities.
Below I would like to provide you with some information about our programme:

Children's sports holidays:
The children's sports holiday will be offered for the Easter and summer holidays 2024 and can now be booked with us. In cooperation with the Family Service, University Sports offers a varied programme of different sports games where your children have the opportunity to get in touch with sports, get creative and socialise with their peers.

The children's holiday care in 2024 takes place both weeks in the Easter holidays (18.03.-28.03.) and the last four weeks in the summer holidays (08.07.-02.08.) and is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years of age.

Lecture-free time:
Save the date! Our programme for the lecture-free period starts on 05.02. at 8 a.m., which offers a wide range of activities during the lecture-free period. You will find a preview of the course programme on our website about one week before the start of courses and bookings:

now sports excursion:
We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that there are still few places available on our snow sports excursion from 01.03.-09.03.24. Whether beginner or advanced, the Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl snow area in Austria and the neighbouring Zauchensee ski area, with their varied and snow-sure tracks, offer everyone the opportunity to let off steam on skis and snowboards and enjoy the mountain panorama.
