Election meeting of youth and trainee representatives (JAV)

Dear Sir/Madam,
the election committee for the election of the JAV at Leuphana University Lüneburg decided on an election announcement at its meeting on 03.01.2024. This states, among other things:
The election of the JAV will take place on 29.02.2024 from 16.00 at an election meeting in Bib.002 (a training room in the library). The election meeting replaces the usual election procedure. At the meeting, eligible voters can make election proposals. Voting takes place immediately afterwards and the votes are counted.
Young employees under the age of 18 and employees employed for their vocational training who are entered in the electoral list are eligible to vote and be elected. All full-time employees of the University who have not yet reached the age of 26 are also eligible to vote. These employees do not have to be on the voters' list.
The list of voters and the election regulations are available for inspection in the library in office 009.
