lunatic Festival 2024 on the Leuphana campus

Dear colleagues,
The lunatic festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! It will take place on the campus on 31.05. and 01.06. As in 2022, the event area will include the library garden and the area in front of the university sports building. You will find a corresponding plan attached. In order to make the festival logistically possible, there will unfortunately be some infrastructural restrictions during the preparation and festival phase as well as an increased noise level in the immediate vicinity of the venues due to the music.
Below is the most important information:
The following building entrances can no longer be used on Friday, 31.05.2021, and Saturday, 01.06.2021, from 11.00 am:
- Building 5, direction Mensawiese (both entrances)
- Building 7, direction lecture halls (both entrances)

Increased noise level:
In the period from 30.05. to 01.06. 2024 there will be an increased noise level between 08:00 and 22:00, Saturday until 23:00 due to sound checks and concerts.
Parking and stopping bans:
From 27.05 to 03.06.2024, the road between building 7 and the lecture halls, the road between building 5 and the Mensa meadow continuing between the Mensa and building 4, the road between the HSS building and the sports hall and parking lot 4 will be closed. In addition, parking in the street between the Mensa meadow and Wichernstraße will not be possible from May 29 to June 2 and in the street between buildings 6 and 8 from May 30 to June 1. Please use the other parking spaces on campus during this time.
