Adjustment of the remuneration of auxiliary staff

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen
Dear colleagues
at the beginning of the summer semester 2023, the remuneration of student assistants (with degree) and academic assistants will now also be increased by circular of the MWK dated 10.02.2023. The Presidential Board has decided to adopt the regulations of the state of Lower Saxony.
As of 01.04.2023, student and academic assistants will thus receive the following hourly remuneration:
1) Academic and artistic assistants
a) with a completed academic university education within the meaning of No. 1 of the Protocol Declaration on Part I of the pay scale to the TV-L (e.g. diploma, master's degree or master's degree at universities) or
b) with a Master's degree in an accredited course of study at a university of applied sciences
shall receive a remuneration of 17.34 euros from the beginning of the summer semester 2023.
2) Academic, artistic and student assistants
a) with a Fachhochschule degree or
b) with a Bachelor's degree
shall receive remuneration of 12.77 euros from the beginning of the summer semester 2023.
Student assistants without a university degree will receive remuneration of 12.00 euros from the winter semester 2022/2023.
We ask that you take this change into account, especially when calculating personnel costs.
