Zoom regularly provides updates for the client. So far, however, the client is neither automatically updated nor does it reliably receive a notification that a new update is available. Both for security reasons and because of new, useful features (most recently, for example, the function that allows participants to enter breakout rooms independently), it is important to update the client regularly. Therefore, please check for new updates at least once a month. How to check for new updates:
- Open the client (blue camera icon on your computer)
- Click on your small profile picture at the top right of the window
- A selection menu opens. Select there: "Check for updates".
- If the search shows that a new update is available, install it.
