7th Leuphana Sustainability Report published

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen
Dear colleagues, dear students,
It is with great pleasure that we have made progress and with sincere thanks to all those who have contributed to sustainable development through their efforts that I am pleased to send you Leuphana University Lüneburg's already seventh sustainability report.
Sustainability means broadening one's perspective beyond one's own horizon of use and experience. On this basis, the search for appropriate problem-solving strategies for urgent questions of the time is one of the great challenges of society and thus also of the universities as the central places of scientific research and teaching.
At Leuphana, sustainability permeates research and teaching as well as the entire university culture. We are now considered a role model in this area, at least nationally, and have already received several awards for our commitment.
The current sustainability report follows Leuphana's overall institutional approach to sustainability and deals with the fields of research, education, society & region and campus operations. In our magazine, we show how this can work. You can order the magazine - gladly also in several copies - from Irmhild Brüggen (irmhild.brueggen@leuphana.de).
I invite you to get to know innovative study programmes, trend-setting research projects as well as exemplary initiatives of all university members of a lived sustainable university culture with our sustainability report. At the same time, I would like to invite you to further on actively shape the common concern of a sustainable university.
