KLIPPO: Opening of the new gastronomy in the central building on October 4

dear colleagues, dear students,
I am pleased to announce that after a longer break due to corona, a new gastronomic offer will be launched on our campus next week: On October 4, KLIPPO will open on the ground floor of the central building. With heiter & wolkig GmbH, we were able to win – in our view – an ideal operator from Lüneburg, who is committed to fair, sustainable and modern gastronomy businesses as well as extraordinary event concepts. The founders have been associated with the university for many years through various initiatives and events such as the Lunatic Festival.
From Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., KLIPPO will offer a varied, fresh and regional culinary program for students, staff and guests of the university. KLIPPO is also intended to be a meeting place for friends and colleagues, where everyone can feel comfortable and welcome. Plenty of space and a fast WLAN make co-working uncomplicated and pleasant. KLIPPO will also be a new stage for artists and event organizers of various genres.
The KLIPPO team attaches great importance to the sustainability of its offer. KLIPPO therefore cooperates closely and fairly with regional suppliers and relies on long-term, trusting contractual relationships with its employees. In the Hanseatic city of Lüneburg, the heiter & wolkig team already operates a restaurant (TO HUUS), a café (Cafe im Glockenhof), a bar (Hausbar) and a beer garden (Schröders Garten) in addition to KLIPPO.

By the way, KLIPPO is colloquially called the place to rest while playing tag in parts of northern Germany. I hope that you will explore this place in large numbers, enjoy the new gastronomic offer and thus also fill a new meeting place and social venue on campus with life.
