New menu structure on the intranet
2023-08-31 The intranet as the central information platform for the members of Leuphana has been given a new menu structure. The aim of this revision is to compile information more from the user's perspective and, above all, in a process-oriented way. We have bundled topics, simplified navigation through the intranet pages and removed unnecessary click paths.
What is new?
- All the essentials at the top level: We have moved the administrative services up one level in the menu tree so that you can now find all the processes and information relevant to everyday work even more easily at the top level.
- New section "Arrival and work basics": Especially new members of Leuphana - but also everyone else - will find useful basic knowledge and up-to-date information for working at Leuphana here.
- Alphabetical navigation: You will see that we have sorted the menu alphabetically. This should also make it easier for you to access the information you are looking for.
- Content/topic bundling of processes instead of department names: Some of the listed menu items have also changed in their wording. Instead of "Facility Management", it is now "Buildings and Properties". Even though you will still find the centrally responsible departments under the topics, you have quick access to essential processes via the thematic sorting.
All these changes represent a first step towards a generally more process-oriented structuring of the information on the intranet. Our goal is to restructure the intranet in such a way that you can quickly and compactly find all information about responsibilities and processes at Leuphana. We are currently compiling central processes with the administrative institutions and are gradually preparing them for the intranet in the form of process descriptions. You can already understand this well for the "Human Resources" area. In the future, you will also find process descriptions in the other areas that are primarily geared to your information needs.
This reorganisation will not happen overnight and we will keep reporting when there are significant innovations. Please feel free to contact us at any time with your questions or suggestions.
Best regards
