Building on Advanced English: Conversation and Language Work for C1 Speakers

Keep your English fluent and strengthen the skills you have in a small online course. 

You will join a small group in a Zoom meeting to discuss a new topic each week- Themes will relate to higher education or other issues relevant to the group. 

The discussions will give practice in expressing complex ideas and giving and responding to opinions. Preparation for each session will be to read a text or watch a podcast.

Participants from previous courses are most welcome. Each participant’s grammar and speaking level will be assessed and individual feedback will be given.  

Sigrid Pearson is a fully trained and highly experienced teacher of English as a foreign language, and a native speaker of both UK and American English. Specialising in English for academic purposes and business English, she has taught and coached in international language schools, businesses and universities in London, Hamburg, Berlin, Freiburg and Lüneburg.
